Liv has expanded its performance e-bike range with the Intrigue X Advanced E+, a new full-suspension trail model developed around DJI’s Avinox drive system. The launch is notable because it brings one of the market’s highest-output compact motors to a platform designed specifically for female riders.
The carbon-framed bike combines 150 mm of rear travel with a 160 mm fork and uses mixed wheel sizes, pairing a 29-inch front wheel with a 27.5-inch rear. Liv’s Maestro suspension layout is retained, while an adjustable flip chip allows riders to alter the geometry and handling. The Avinox motor provides up to 120 Nm of torque in boost mode and is powered by an integrated 800 Wh battery.
Liv is offering two builds. The Intrigue X Advanced E+ 1 uses a Fox suspension package and SRAM Eagle 90 mechanical transmission, while the higher-spec E+ 0 adds electronic Fox components and SRAM XX Eagle AXS shifting. Reported German prices are €7,999 and €8,999 respectively.
For the wider e-bike market, the release shows DJI’s continued expansion beyond early adopter brands and into portfolios from established global manufacturers. It also adds another serious option to the growing category of high-power, long-travel e-MTBs that aim to combine climbing support, substantial battery capacity and trail-bike handling rather than simply maximizing range.
