Gazelle is broadening its Ultimate e-bike family with three new Class 1 models: the Ultimate T10, Ultimate C5 and Ultimate C380. The additions bring the company’s recently redesigned platform to riders who prefer pedal assistance up to 20 mph rather than the higher speed of Gazelle’s Class 3 variants.
All three models combine an active but comfort-oriented riding position with wider tyres, an air-suspension fork and a suspended seatpost. Bosch Smart System integration is standard, while the display depends on the specification level. The shared aluminium platform also incorporates cleaner cable routing and a more integrated appearance than the previous generation.
The range offers three distinct drivetrain choices. The T10 uses a conventional derailleur setup and is positioned as the most accessible model. The C5 pairs a low-maintenance Gates belt with a Shimano five-speed internal hub, while the C380 sits at the top of the group with a Gates belt and stepless Enviolo transmission. Bosch mid-drive motors and a 540 Wh integrated battery support commuting, leisure riding and longer paved tours.
The launch is significant because it applies Gazelle’s latest chassis and comfort upgrades to its mainstream 20 mph category. Rather than emphasizing maximum speed, the new Ultimate models target riders seeking controlled assistance, practical equipment and a familiar bicycle-like feel across daily and recreational use.
