Cube has expanded its 2027 trekking range with the Nuride Hybrid Performance 720, a fully equipped e-bike intended to bridge daily transport, leisure rides and light off-road touring.

The new model uses Bosch’s Performance Line mid-drive motor, delivering up to 75 Nm of torque through the Smart System. It is paired with an integrated 720 Wh PowerTube battery and a Purion 200 control unit. This combination places the Nuride below Cube’s more powerful Performance Line CX models, but gives it enough assistance and battery capacity for longer commutes and mixed-surface trips.

Cube has chosen practical, serviceable components rather than a premium specification. A 12-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain offers a broad 10–51-tooth gear range, while Shimano MT200 hydraulic brakes use 180 mm rotors at both wheels. The SR Suntour X32 fork provides 100 mm of travel, and 57 mm Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres add versatility on gravel paths and rough roads.

Touring equipment is fitted as standard, including integrated lights, full-length mudguards, a kickstand and Cube’s semi-integrated SIC 2.1 rear carrier. The aluminium bike weighs about 29 kg and is listed in Germany at €2,699.

The Nuride’s significance lies less in a single headline feature than in its positioning: it brings a large Bosch battery and complete everyday equipment to a relatively attainable price point, while retaining enough trail capability for riders who want one e-bike for several roles.
