Bosch eBike Systems is preparing European bicycle dealers for a broader and more technically varied 2027 product range, with its first rear-hub motor taking a central role in the company’s next training season.
The 17th annual program begins across Europe on October 20, followed by the UK and Ireland from October 22. Bosch says last year’s edition attracted more than 15,000 participants over 415 training days in 22 countries, illustrating the scale of service education required as e-bike systems become more connected and diverse.
A principal topic this year will be the Hub Line, Bosch’s first production hub-drive platform. Courses will cover both the motor itself and the related service concept, giving workshop and sales staff practical guidance before bikes equipped with the system become more widely available. The compact drive is already appearing on urban and trekking models from brands including Moustache, Cube, Gazelle, KTM and Trek.
Training will also address model-year 2027 components such as the updated Active Line Plus, PowerTube 360 and 720 batteries, Intuvia 200 display, LED Controller and ConnectModule. Theft-protection functions within the eBike Flow app are another focus, reflecting the growing importance of software and security alongside mechanical maintenance.
Demand appears strong: more than 80% of places on the UK and Ireland tour had already been booked, with several dates sold out. For riders, the program signals that Bosch’s expansion beyond mid-drive motors will be supported by a substantial dealer-service network from launch.
