British bicycle brand Whyte is returning to Germany and Austria, appointing Sports Nut as its distribution partner in the two markets. The agreement restores Whyte’s presence in a strategically important part of Europe and gives the company access to an established specialist-dealer network.

The relaunch will be led by Whyte’s 2027 Karve electric mountain bike range. Two versions, the Karve RSX and Karve RS, are due to reach retailers in autumn 2026. Whyte describes the new platform as a full-power e-MTB built around an integrated battery, targeting riders who want substantial assistance without abandoning the handling focus associated with the brand’s conventional mountain bikes.

Sports Nut plans to introduce the partnership to the trade at Eurobike in Frankfurt in June 2027. The distributor already represents a broad portfolio of cycling brands and will handle Whyte’s commercial development in both Germany and Austria.

The move comes as e-bike manufacturers continue to compete for dealer visibility in the DACH region, where service support and local distribution remain important purchase factors. For Whyte, the Karve provides a product-led route back into the market rather than a simple revival of its previous sales structure. More detailed specifications and pricing for the two models are expected closer to their retail launch.
