Bosch eBike Systems is expanding its North American dealer education program with a two-level certification structure for the 2026–27 training season. The initiative will begin in October and run through February 2027, reaching approximately 100 cities alongside online training options.
The new Intro Training course covers bike setup, sales fundamentals, basic fault-finding, the eBike Flow app and warranty procedures. Participants receive a one-year dealer certification, allowing them to process warranty claims and use Bosch service resources such as DiagnosticTool 3.
A second, hands-on Tech Training course is aimed at mechanics who completed the introductory level within the previous 12 months. Its curriculum focuses on diagnosing and resolving more demanding service cases. Bosch says participating workshops will also receive a Cross Swap Box, a troubleshooting kit for the company’s smart system.
The revised format follows a 2025 tour that trained more than 2,400 people. Bosch also cited a 2026 National Bicycle Dealers Association survey of 224 North American retailers, in which it received the highest average supplier score across categories including system quality, battery performance, warranty support, training and overall satisfaction. It was the third consecutive year Bosch led the retailer survey.
Although the rollout is regional rather than European, it underlines the growing importance of workshop capability as increasingly connected e-bike systems enter the market.
