Scott has unveiled the next generation of its Strike, the brand’s most comfort-oriented full-suspension e-bike — and the update pushes the platform noticeably closer to the fast-growing allroad and SUV e-bike segment.
The headline change is the drive unit. The new Strike moves to the fifth-generation Bosch Performance CX, lifting peak torque from 85 Nm to 120 Nm, with up to 750 W of power and 600 percent support. On steep climbs, that is a substantial step up from the outgoing model.
Battery capacity grows as well. The main Strike models now carry an 800 Wh removable pack, up from 625 Wh, while even the entry-level Strike 40 gets 720 Wh. One trade-off: the optional range extender shrinks from 500 Wh to 250 Wh, so the maximum total capacity drops slightly to 1,050 Wh versus 1,125 Wh before.
The character of the bike remains unchanged. With 150 mm of travel, a semi-integrated shock, and a relatively upright riding position, the Strike aims to blend predictable trail performance with daily usability. Scott has added practical touches to underline that: pre-wiring for lights, mounting options for a kickstand and fenders, and a tool-free, magnetically guided frame cover for quick access to key components.
The new Strike will be offered in several builds differing in display (Intuvia 200 or Purion 200), drivetrain, and brakes, all weighing around 25 kg. Prices range from €4,199 to €5,799.
